Artist Statement - Nancy Pollinger

As a Watercolor - Mixed-Media Pen & Ink, and Digital Equine Artist, I am inspired by my love of horses, scripture, and my love of God, who formed all of creation. My work explores the soul of equines through watercolor, ink, and light. With my once-wild mustang, Meraki, as my muse, I create art that honors the sacred thread between nature, spirit, and redemption.

Thank you for being here. I’m grateful to share my journey, my art, and the stories behind them.

About: Blackpony, LLC - Artistic Creations

Where faith, beauty, and the spirit of the horse intertwine.”

BlackPony was born from a simple truth: the Creator speaks through the horse. In the wild breath of a Mustang, in the disciplined grace of the arena, in the quiet partnership between horse and rider — there is a reflection of God’s strength, beauty, and steady presence.

My artwork is an offering of that truth. Each piece begins with prayer, with stillness, with the desire to honor the One who shaped these animals with such intention. Whether capturing the raw freedom of America’s wild horses or the refined precision of equestrian sport, every image carries a whisper of Scripture — a reminder of courage, endurance, surrender, and the faith that anchors us.

BlackPony exists to reveal the spirit and story God wove into the horse: their resilience, their gentleness, their fire, their willingness to run into the unknown. Through watercolor, ink, and cinematic motion, I seek to portray not just what a horse looks like, but what they teach us — about trust, calling, perseverance, and grace.

This is more than art. It is devotion. It is testimony. It is a sanctuary for those who see God’s fingerprints in creation and feel His nearness in the presence of a horse.

Welcome to BlackPony — where faith and artistry meet, and where every piece carries the quiet reminder: “The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in HIM.” Psalm 37:23
